🔐 Simplified permissions management for roles - Now in GA!
Update and manage access more efficiently with a streamlined interface designed for consistency across the platform. These improvements simplify how permissions are assigned and maintained for any organization.
Key improvements:
Category-level control: assign permissions at a high level for categories like Risk, Inventory Management, User Management, Reports, and Governance. This removes the need to configure every sub-permission manually while still allowing for granular selection when required.
Automatic updates: roles granted category-level access automatically include any new sub-permissions added to that category in the future. This ensures access remains accurate as the platform evolves.
Backward compatible: existing roles and their permissions are fully preserved, with no changes needed on your end and no impact to enforcement logic
All resources maintain Read access by default. Since Read-only access is the baseline and cannot be disabled at the permission level, selected permissions specifically grant write access.
